The photos that follow are primarily taken by our narrow gauge equipment foreman and included in a monthly email.
The project has moved slowly but steadily.
The work started with the foundation for the legs. The original tanks had a separate square footing under each leg, a foot and a half or so deep. The reconstruction work is being lead by a registered civil engineer; he upgraded the foundation design. It looks the same from above ground, but he went 3'+ deep and underneath the surface all the footings are connected. This gives more strength and stability.
