I have one of Harry Bedwell's early railroad short stories in a .pdf file.

It is from Railroad Man's Magazine, May 1911.

I don't know how to post it here, but maybe I could send it to someone as an attachment on a private e-mail, and something could be done with it for the enjoyment of the readers here.

Pretty good story.
