Georgetown Loop ownership change

I'm a bit ignorant on this particular subject, so some information would be greatly appreciated. I've known about the Georgetown Loop for years, but unfortunately never had a chance to visit. It was apparently a must for the Colorado narrow gauge fan. Now, I'm seeing that all of their locomotives are at the CRR Museum in Golden, yet they (the Georgetown Loop) are still running trains. I've heard that an ownership and equipment change took place, and it hasn't been a very popular one at that. Can anyone fill me in on the details?
