NG-16 Garratt Question - Gavin Hamilton?

I have grown interested lately in the tiny, well large by 2 ft. standards, Garratts built for service in South Africa, some of which have been moved to Wales on the rebuilt WHR.

I would like to know the difference between the NG-11 class, NG-13 class, and the NG-16 class.

What is the tractive effort of these locomotives, the NG-16 in particular?

I know that two of these became NG-16a - they got the Porta modifications and ran on the now closed Alfred County Railway, Nos. 141 and 155.
