The 485 was on an eastbound freight train that met the westbound San Juan at Antonito on Jan. 31, 1951. When was it shipped to Salida?
If it was after mid February it probably went via La Veta Pass on a standard gauge flat car. If before, it may have steamed up the Poncha Pass line.
Also I believe that 487 was in Salida for a while. When did it come back?
