Gato Preto on the EFPP (the 600mm gauge Perus-Pirapora railroad in Brazil) is sort of like Robertsdale on the EBT. The line survives, abandoned in 1983, and derelict since. Tracks have been bulldozed aside in the town, but exist in the jungle vegetation for the entire length. Except where stolen. But many buildings, locomotives and some train cars still survive. There are other locations along the line where things still can be found. At a siding along the line, close to the wide gauge (meter) interchange, a museum group has restored an 0-4-0t. I would be curious if anyone will be travelling south to Sao Paulo and is interested in checking this out. Where else can you find so many 2-foot Porters and Baldwins?
Meanwhile you can tour the remains from this link, with other stations found near the map in the upper left corner.
