Hello,
I have enjoyed this forum for a few years now. I am writing to request help to illustrate an article I wrote for the Soo Line Historical & Technical Society about Duluth, South Shore and Atlantic Railroad's rotary snowplow. It was Cooke builder No. 23, the one before Cooke No. 24, which is D&RGW rotary OM. I am writing to requiest a few good color photo/slide scans of Rotray OM in action to help illustrate our DSS&A article. I would like one to be more slides where one can see some of the rotary and snow flying too (if possible).
The DSS&A rotary was scrapped in October 1933. We have one color page for the article and a few good color slides of OM in action would be GREAT since there ar no know color photos of the DSS&A's rotary. The two rotaries were in the Cooke shop building at the same time. A scan of at least 300 dpi of 5x7 or 8x10 would be great. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me off list.
Sincerely,
Andy Roth
