Special thanks to everyone who has already submitted photos of the 6th Annual Fall Foliage and Photographers Special on the Sumpter Valley Railroad. There have been some very good images posted and it never ceases to amaze me that so many new angles and locations show up with each passing season. Anyway, the trains ran extremely well and we had a good turn-out, hauling over 80, seemingly happy passengers for the weekend. Kudos to our train crew, depot staff, and event coordinators who all put in long hours and a lot of hard work to make everything come together. This was our first try at a two-day event, and it proved popular enough that it will likely be the norm from here on out. There were a lot of familiar faces, but also a hell of a lot of new ones which is always great to see. We're already planning for 2007, so if you weren't able to visit this year think about making plans for the coming summer.
Now that that is done, attached are a few of the pictures I snapped, WARNING, none of them are very good.
Enjoy, Taylor
