C&S? boxcar ? going....going... *PIC*

Recent threads about C&S #9 freight runs and RGS future track building points to the need to have some authentic equipment on hand to recreate "the way it was". This car body appears to be an ex-Colorado and Southern boxcar? that was converted during WWII by the US Army re: WP&Y refrigerator #738?. It is located in Skagway, Alaska and is facing a very uncertain future as the owner wants it removed ASAP. It is questionable whether it can be moved in one piece given the condition of the sills but maybe the hardware is worth salvaging for other cars. If anyone has information on the history of this car or wishes to try and help save it please back channel me and I can provide more detailed photos and further information.
