Thanks, Sumpter Valley!

Folks, if you haven't been to the Sumpter Valley yet, take time to do so!

As a long-time EBT fan and more recent ET&WNC fan, involved in restoration of both, I was privileged to visit the SV while visiting my brother in Boise, ID. Thanks to Dan Robirds, we received royal treatment (an excellent tour of the facilities and equipment), and thanks to Taylor Rush we enjoyed a motorcar trip up to the Sumpter depot (where we spent some money!) and the fascinating dredge. We also enjoyed meeting several other members of the staff/volunteers who were all very hepful & friendly. Even though the train wasn't running, you can tell that it is an excellent organization!
