Watson, Utah around 1919. Uintah Railway 0-6-2 tank engine #20 sets with its normal single car passenger car ready to depart Watson, next stop Dragon, and then fianlly Atchee (the passenger car would continue to Mack, Colorado). Inside frame 2-8-2 #40 sets on the next track, steamed up with maintenance being preformed on the side of the engine (notice the crouching engineman). Notice also the slant back tender on this locomotive. This was later added on to to increase the water carring capacity. The large freight warehouse and "depot" is seen int he background. All freight in to the uintah Basin around Vernal Utah passed from this side of the building and into wagons and later trucks on the other side.
