Took a boatload of pictures of D&RGW #346 while I was at the Museum this weekend. I spent 4 hours loading trains on Saturday, and 6 hours on Sunday doing other things.
here are some pictures that I grabbed while on fire watch over by the 4% grade coming out of the 3 way switch. we are getting all the track around the switch replaced, and the 3 way itself is being moved off the main line (as far as I heard) to the west, to connect to several other tracks that have no access right now to the main line

at the end of the day, I stuck around to help the engine crew shut everything down
Backing up onto the turntable. As amazing as it seems, it can actually be pushed by a single person. I would not have believed it if I had not pushed it myself. The hard part is getting it started and stopped. You really have to dig your feet in
