Summit Daily News: Riding the rails on the Georgetown Loop

Here's a link to a nice article about riding the Georgetown Loop over the Memorial Day weekend:
Summit Daily News: Riding the rails on the Georgetown Loop

This is the type of publicity that tourist railroads need to be getting this year. The article is (1) in a local paper and (2) the author describes a positive trip over the Loop behind #21. Hopefully this will help encourage other area residents to ride the railroad.

Also of interest is that the crew is telling passengers that steam will be back "in a month or two". The author also said that the crew told him that the railroad carried approximately 500 passengers that day. I assume this a good number given that it is early in the season and they can only haul a 4-car train.
