Loco used in "The Music Man"

My Fellow NGDF members,
My band classes just finished watching The Music Man. Do any of you know what locomotive was used in the opening sequences of this movie?

I can tell you that it was AN OUTSIDE FRAME locomotive. I assume that would put it in the narrow gauge category. However, there were NOT ANY LARGE COUNTERWEIGHTS on the outside of the axles.
