Safety Weekend

Sumpter Valley Railway's annual Safety Weekend is scheduled for May 3 & 4 2008. The emphasis will be safety and we plan to practice putting the train together and going out on the line. Hopefully # 19 will be ready, but if not, it may be # 3. We plan to have new rules books to hand out to members with several changes in rules this season.

Active train crew members are required to attend this weekend. If you are interested in possibly joining SVRy, this would be a good time to check us out. If you plan to volunteer for train crew this season but cannot attend, contact me and let's make arrangements to fill you in on the weekend's events and have you complete necessary paperwork.
