K-27 Valves

May 05, 2004 07:59PM
I realize that there must have been a reason for the inboard or outboard piston valves on the K-27's. I know that the inboard valves required some monkey motion to get valve action to the valves. If anyone knows reasoning behind this decision and what engines were rebuilt as what valve type, it would be greatly appriciated.
