We always have some sort of painting project going on at the Sumpter Valley, right now it's a White Pass flat, but we're looking at our Rio Grande cars, especially the reefer. We have no problem whatsoever with painting the bodies and such, but there is a bit of a head scratcher with the lettering. There is a fairly good chance I'll be making the stencils if it comes to it, so if we could avoid that, all the better. I'm wondering, if a group like the Colorado Railroad Museum or the Cumbres & Toltec happen to have full sets of stencils, or are they made individually every time a car is restored. It would be great to borrow a few instead of having to make them. The refridgerator car lettering is still a little way off, but I'm just trying to see if stencils will have to be made or not.
Thanks in Advance, Taylor
