Average car widths

I thought this had come up before but I couldn't find it in the archives...maybe it was a different group? Anywho..
What are the "standard" car (freight and passenger) widths for the different gauges? Please correct me!
4' 8-1/2" = 10' Wide
42" = ??
36" = 7'10" to 8'4" wide
30" = ??
24" = 6' to 6'6" wide
18" = ??
