Former Grand Canyon locomotives 18 and 20 are now in the North Yard in Denver. The locomotives were shoved from 36th St Yard to Denver Union Station at about 5 p.m. Saturday. Then the UP switch crew lined them out to North Yard along with a car of lumber.
The engines could be on a Pueblo-bound train as early as Sunday (depending on how fast UP wants to work) and be in Alamosa early next week.
