Whyte classification

Hi,

I was looking at the 0-6-4RT on the Barnhardt site again.

I am familiar with the following suffix nomenclature:

0-6-0 with tender
0-6-0T with (saddle) tank - no tender
0-6-0ST with side tank - no tender

What does the RT stand for - rear tank?

Has there been a loco with both tanks on the loco and a tender?

How about a Forney with a water "canteen" (Southern nomenclature for water car)?

The SV/Uintah Malleys went from tank to tender. I do not think they exer had both.

Thanks

Doug
