Just hypathetical.....

Since the loop is said to be such a taxpayer money pit, does anyone think the state would ever consider selling it to private ownership with a stipulation that it would remain a railroad? Or is it so sacred that it would be like selling Pikes Peak? That being asked...does anyone think anybody would by it?

(Maybe they could sell it for $10 like the BN sold the Leadville line.)

Anoter question...Does the money poored into the Loop, and the politics involved, have any effect on Colorado's support of the C&TS.
