My 2 cents worth:
Put two CCD cameras in the loco cab, one pointed at the left half of the boiler, on pointed at the right half of the boiler, and run pix to TV monitor(s) in parlor car. Wireless setup suggested. Split screen, or timed alternating pictures. It would be a great piece of glitz. It would add to the drama firing up the hill, or add a diverson while in the area closest to Antonito.
This feature should pay for itself over a season. CCD analog cameras are relatively cheap. So are the monitors. The wireless setup would be somewhat of an unknown, but the TV security business should have dropped the price on this application. If 7-11 can afford it, it should put it in the RRs price range.
