First C&TS passenger movement, 1970

OK, a couple more photos that have surfaced. These show the Governors' special in the Fall of 1970. I have a bunch of slides from this trip that may likewise surface one of these days. My wife and I rode the train as the press representatives of the Silverton Standard and the Miner. Editor Nossaman gave me the passes, grumbling something like "how the hell do they think a weekly newspaper editor can chase around the country riding trains when there's a paper to put out?" Allen was a good source for passes for my early train riding in Colorado, and I did write stories for him to publish.
