One small artifact we did find at Stoddard Camp was a smokebox door retainer. This is the oblong stepped dowhatzit that goes over one of the studs surounding the smokebox door to hold the door shut. Another thing interesting about Stoddard Camp is the service pit. There are misc. air hose bits and small bits of unrecognizable hdwe around the area that must have been there service area based on the pit.
