I wonder if the RailAmerica operation is still using the caboose over the pass. I believe DRGW/SP/UP did so up until the end, because of the curvature, limited visibility from the head end, and lack of detectors. Here's a picture from a couple of years ago of the eastbound train at the loop just west of the summit with caboose. Now back to your regularly scheduled ng. programming.
