Thanks Jim. SVCartoad besides being our much valued carman, road engineer, surveyor par excelance and crewmember/locomotive engineer, is also one of the long time regulars going back to the early days of our present organization. He, I and some combination of the above mentioned folks have worked at quite a number of long past normal hours sessions to make sure the train would run the following morning. I've certainly been honored to work with these dedicated folks over the last 5 or 6 years that I have been involved in SVRR.
I suppose I will hear a few choice words from Annie at the Scoop and Steamer/cabins. ( it was actually more like 1 hour of shut eye which is probably about what Scott got also.) She started out offering me the cabin for a second night at a reduced price and ended up calling her housekeeper to tell her to clean it the next day in case I just wanted to sack out awhile before heading home. It is nice to have that kind of support for our efforts.
