D&SNG 1201 near San Ysidro, NM

By shear chance, my wife was driving her best friend back to Santa Fe yesterday afternoon. She called me from Bernalillo to tell me there was a Durango & Silverton locomotive sitting on a semi trailer in town. Ever so quickly, my son and I jumped in the Jeep and took chase. We caught up with the truck near San Ysidro, NM.
Say what you want about its appearance, the locomotive is part of the next chapter in the history of Colorado Narrow Gauge railroading. It was really cool to catch it in route to its new home.
