The filming was coordinated with the railroad and the train crew and passengers were aware of what was going on. The passengers enjoyed not only the train ride but the "air show" as well and were quite entertained.
The majority of the filming was done with an empty charter train that we ran for them that afternoon in the normal time slot of the third train. It was a typical movie shoot with numerous run bys showing off lots of smoke and steam. We ran up as far as Needleton where there were more trees in peak color on the mountainsides. The finished product is supposed to be out in about a year at the new theater they are opening in Las Vegas.
