Rich I'm sorry if I sounded a little stern. I re read what I posted and didn't mean for it to sound that way!!
I was not aware of that conservatory. There was a chain and a lock on the gate to access all land in this area. We have been in there once before but I can't seem to find any pictures and don't remember if we took any now.... When we went before (probably the mid to late 2000's), we were given permission and told "just shut the gates behind you" from one of the land owners. One of my first NG railroad hikes and it was neat. We didn't make it far enough to see any of the bridge remains, though there were some back then. They were very low and not long bridges, maybe 10-15 feet high.
