Draft gear should be compatible between the 3/4 and full sized couplers on these locomotives. The Bombardier DL535Es USG purchased arrived at Plaster City with the WPY standard 3/4 couplers. They were quickly changed to the full sized couplers utilized on the USG operation. Here you can see the full sized coupler installed on USG/WPY 113 in contrast to the original 3/4 coupler on USG/WPY 112. These units have the same draft gear / coupler pocket design as the standard cab DL535Es.
