What is the different tonnage ratings of the K-27, K-36 and K-37 hauling freight up the 4% grade out of Chama? I am also curious about the final history and fates of K-27 #458 and #459 that went to Mexico. I understand that they were re-numbered #400 and #401. I found that ex. D&RGW #279 still exists and was last operated in the around 1972 in excursion service. I also web-reserched that one Mexico 3-foot gauge ended service in 1965 and another ended in 1972. I would appreciate any information on these topics.
