Worked with Dirk at the CRRM for several years starting in 1978. He "Qualified" me to run and fire 346. Quite an individual. Todd, I was standing beside you taking my own photo of my late son, Brian Gould, raising the bear trap on 346. That photo brought back memories. Very sorry to hear of Dirk's passing. Picture shows 3 peole setting the Beartrap on 346. Brian Gould in red hat, Dirk Ramsey and Kevin Doe on top of the boiler. Things were pretty nuch right with the world, then.
