Hi John,

I have a series of photos from the 1936 NRHS trip. The images are original contact prints that are in an album where the newest photo is from 1939. I will post more pictures when I get them scanned.

As to car loadings, I don't know numbers but many shops, industries and even private homes still burned coal in the 1930's so the railroad probably did fairly well. Some of the EBT books may touch on the subject.
