Craig and Murph. Here’s a link to a website that has a summary and photos of the Kirkfield quarry rail operations. [
www.trainweb.org] The last colour photos appear to be screen shots from a movie that used to be on YouTube, but I can’t find it. Typical quarry - rough track, one man operation, and unless that movie had been sped up they used to hammer those little engines.
I’ll have to ask about the boiler diameter and as to the redesign of the steam dome, you’ll have to be more specific. It looks taller than most because it has to extend through the saddle tank.
