"The Greater Chama Valley Association"
This is not directly Train Related, but there is always a lot of discussion about small towns trying to help themselves. I do know some of the discussions have included a train trip as part of the activities. ??? A package: 2 days of the rodeo and 1 day on the train.???? or ????

..........THE FUTURE OF THE CHAMA VALLEY
"The Greater Chama Valley Association" has embarked on a project that will bring economic growth and National recognition to the Valley in the near future. This project consists of a 45,000 sq. ft. entertainment center that will seat 1500 for rodeos and up to 3000 for concerts. The entertainment venue would consist of, but not be limited to full Rodeos, Horse Shows, Concerts, Arts and Crafts Shows, Antique Car Shows, Flea Markets, Historical Events and 4H/FFA activities. This facility will also include a large meeting/reception room that will seat 250 with a full commercial kitchen.
Future components will consist of additional buildings for boarding animals and a preparation area, RV parking for show participants and ample parking for spectators.
This event center will be centrally located near Tierra Amarilla on Highway 84.
