There's a mention of the original loading point being Gateview on the Lake City branch, changed to Iola on the mainline after 1932.

"Ever since the building of the branch in 1889, the Lake Fork Cattle Pool, comprising all the ranchers along the Lake Fork and a few from the adjacent Powderhorn country ... every October ... the Ranchers of the lower Lake Fork valley ... along with ... from the Powderhorn valley ... to Gateview ... Approximately eighteen head of cattle were loaded on each narrow gauge car ... [next paragraph] ... upper Lake Fork valley ... shipped out of Youmans ..."
