First public trip behind D&RG #168

On Saturday May 30th 2020 D&RG #168 will make its first eastbound trip from Chama to Antonito.
This trip is opened to the public. The train will be doubleheaded from Chama to Cumbres with #425 as helper assisting #168 to the top of Cumbres Pass.
The consist will include RPO #65, coach #256, and coach #292.
Ridership will be limited to 60 passengers.
The train will depart at 9:45AM, it will take the siding at Lobato to allow the regular train to pass and then follow the regular train to Osier. Lunch will be served at Osier. It will leave Osier behind the regular train and will arrive Antonito at approximately 6:00PM.
Some photo opportunities will be provided along the way.
The tickets are now available and space can be booked by calling the RR 888-286-2737 or by going to cumbrestoltec.com and pressing the "book your trip" button. Choose May 30th and departing from Chama.
