No Bruce, though that is an intriguing idea.
My railroad is currently set in the Olympic mountains, and is called the Wheaton, Bear Mountain and Pacific Railroad. The idea for it comes from a 1995 Cristina Ricci movie called
Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain, so the town of Wheaton does not exist in reality. The line was built to serve gold mines in the late 1890's, and became a logging railroad as well, crossing the Olympic peninsula to the real town of Port Angeles. Influences come from the Silverton branch, the South Park's Alpine Tunnel route, the White Pass and Yukon and the Kaslo and Slocan Railway in British Columbia.
It is being revived as a tourist line, with some lumber traffic in partnership with the Olympic National Park, through which it runs.
