I subscribe to the Westide Whistlepunk online newsletter. It's been a while since they sent a new one, last I heard was there was a large amount of vandalism again, and if I remember right someone was trying to buy land containing part of the old R-O-W and develop it?? It's not looking that good, but the part that's there is still ok. I remember a while back an arsonist burned one of the trestles. It's a sad thing the Westside doesn't have a dedicated Friends organisation such as on the C&TS. Also, I think the little critter was a Rogers gas-mechanical rather than a Brookville.
