RGS stock car left on Dallas Divide.

This came up in conversation the other day at the museum while talking about thw future of our C&S/RGS stock car.(I want to move the car soon and tarp it btw.)
At the end of the RGS there was at least 1 stock car(7303) on the ground. This body is said to have remained there into the 1980s before it vanished.
Has anyone ever tried looking for it? Or investigating into what happened to it?
