Olaf -

It sounds as if you and your brother jumped on and off a variety of trains there near the end of D&RGW operations. What was the protocol? Did you get permission from the train crew? Did you have sign a release? Or was there a laissez-faire attitude on the railroad's part that let you come and go as you wished?
