Personally I think the string of what I presume are water tank cars behind the tender take away more than the diesel does. Those tanks serve as a strong visual reminder that it's the really the steam engine that's out of place. I like seeing this engine run after spending my whole life repeatedly reading that this was the one that could "never" hope to run again. As long as something exists or the technology to build it exists--never say never.
Next up: Seeing a "PRR" T1 run during my lifetime, a notion that not so long ago was regarded as not merely impossible but outright absurd.
