from previous posts its been stated that the tender you see isn't 483's original tender, it went with 482 on the swap where 497 came to Chama and 482 went to the Durango. but having a K-36 tender with the a k-36 locomotive does look nicer. I remember my first visit to the C&TS and 482 was a mess back by the oiling staging area, she was stripped of many of her parts.
