It was probably Seligman, headquarters of the 'Old Route 66' association. If it had been Kingman that inspired
'Cars', there would have been a scene with the old engine in the park (ATSF #3759, IIRC) telling the youngsters about his adventures fighting off marauding
Indians Native Americans while pulling the 'Super Chief' through the canyons and over the spindly bridges at 100+ miles per hour. A rather well done movie in spite of that missing scene — which I enjoyed watching the first time or two when Jackelopette was a young whipper-snapper. I especially enjoyed the brief appearance of the teepee-shaped motel rooms, in one of which my family stayed when on vacation many, many years ago
