Jimmy's collection of materials is really great. I wonder if any of it came to him from a find of such materials by Fred Springer? Fred told me a fella in Antonito had a bunch of "
D&RGW papers" in a garage he was going to throw out or burn. Fred went to his place and discovered train orders and dispatcher sheets among a lot of other material and asked the man not to destroy it and arranged for someone in a pick up to come with him and they saved all of it. I have forgotten what he said he did with it as he told me that about 10 years ago and Fred passed away several years ago. Does anyone know anything about this?
