Hi All,
Trying to track down some information on a standard gauge caboose that operated on the Gales Creek & Wilson River Railroad in Oregon. Information says it was purchased from the Colorado Midland in February 1920 and that it was built in 1900. Length over end sills was 30' 2". I have been unable to find anything on this caboose being on the CM.
The GC&WR did have two 4-6-0's from the Colorado Midland, GC&WR No. 1 built by Schenectady in December 1890, C/N 3263, CM No. 47. GC&WR No. 2 built by Schenectady December 1887, C/N 2421, CM No. 28.
In the attached photo I'm not sure if the side doors might have been on the CM or not.
Any roster info on this caboose is appreciated.
