We just finished wrestling with the brake components on rider gondola-to-be 1204 (that's the white thing you can see just this side of locomotive 483 in the Chama, north coal tipple web cam). I would not at all be surprised if it came in at close to 300 lbs. It took several attempts with a come-along to get it mounted properly since the actual holes in the mounting plate did not match the ones in the blue prints (which were used to locate the mounting bolts in the pre-existing wood-steel box beam-wood "sandwich" of the upgraded frame). Oooph!!
