Re: 490 in 1955

You sure its 1955? It also ran for sure in 1956 on the RMRRC trip, cause that was when my dad took the family out for the first Scholl family NG adventure. He had ridden a trip in 1954. Anyway dad has a movie clip of me climbing up into the cab or 490 at Antonito on the westbound trip. I also acquired some movie footage of this trip from another source and it is in one of the videos "Rio Grande Steam Passenger Trains". Just the other day I was sifting through my list of Rio Grande excursion info, but cannot remember where it is stored now. I tried to document dates and trips with engines on the trains for these excursions. Nice photo.
