But I am amazed that an apparently serious article would quote "that notorious wild eyed foamer" – Roosso Loco – as having any authority on the subject whatsoever.
OTOH, there IS the question as to what color the D&RGW paint called "Russian Black" actually was — perhaps a dark green representation of "Russia Iron", also known as "Moffat Green"?? And then there
is that 1930 paint order that Mike Spera unearthed for "Moffat Green boiler jacket enamel for the K-37s"
