All of the ore trains on the 13 mile cog section over the pass were powered by two engines, one in the lead and a rear end helper. Here are a 0-6-2Ts dragging empties up the south side of the pass

Here is one of the 0-12-0Ts in the lead with an 0-6-2T helper
